On Saturday, February 8, Child's Pace Early Learning Centre will host a skating night at the Civic Plaza outdoor rink from 5:30-8:00pm. Lace up your skates, secure your helmet, and hit the ice! Alternatively, come out to enjoy the warmth of the firepits with a cup of hot chocolate!

Please be advised that according to the Government of Canada's Health Infobase, traumatic brain injuries account for 14.1% of all ice skating-related injuries. As a result, Child's Pace Early Learning Centre and the Town strongly recommend wearing a helmet while skating on the outdoor Civic Square ice surface. Ice skating, while enjoyable, carries inherent risks as outlined in the link above, including the possibility of falls or collisions. Wearing a helmet can significantly reduce the likelihood of injury and provide added protection in the event of an accident. Please also be advised that choosing not to wear a helmet places the responsibility and liability for any potential injury squarely on the individual skater. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please take appropriate precautions and wear protective headgear while on the ice.

The Town of Coaldale Civic Plaza is located at 2007 19 St.

See you on the ice!
